Strengths: Good weight, nice balance, excellent batteries
Weaknesses: no other really great hand tools from Hitachi to complement this tool
Summary: I am a DeWalt tool guy but I like to try other things. This is an excellent drill/driver from Hitachi. Build solid and performs well. But whereas DeWalt has other great tools to share battery packs - Hitachi does not. The Lithium Ion batteries are tremendous I cannot wait to upgrade my DeWalt batteries. Great drill, just limited use without complementing tools.
