Strengths: When it works, it provides a decent picture and sound, and is very easy to set up. Weaknesses: Didn't work long for me, either time I had one. Summary: I bought this at Walmart before a trip to Disneyworld. It was great for the trip; the 2 screens really are great if your kids sit on different rows. Had no problems with it for about a month, then it absolutely quit playing the DVD's. The unit would power on, and you could hear the DVD spinning inside, but nothing would be projected on screen. I took it back to Walmart (inside of their 90 day return policy), and got another one exactly like it, figuring it was maybe a problem with the first that was a one-time fluke. However, the second worked fine for about a week, then it too stopped reading the DVD's. It was never turned upside down or sideways; the player sat on a seat in the normal upright position while being used, so there was no abuse to the system. Maybe I got 2 bad ones in a row, or maybe the lot shipped to that particular Walmart was bad, but enough is enough for me. Strengths: Highly versatile, very light and compact, easy to set up and operate, excellent piture quality, good sound. Weaknesses: The sound in the monitors is very loud for the person whose headrest it is mounted on. However, this is easily solved by having the viewers use headsets. Summary: This product is awesome! The picture clarity and sound are incredible for such a small device. I was amazed at how well you could see the picture, even if you sat in the third row seat of the van. It also has a really nice feature of tilt screen. It's important to have this feature especially if you're the one with the sun shining in on you! It was very easy to install and break down and everything fits nicely in the carrying case. The best part is being able to have one of my children watch a movie while the other one plays a game on the gamecube. I highly recommend this portable dvd player. Strengths: Two screens so more than one individual can view. Ability to hook up game system (although I haven't tried yet) Weaknesses: Strap to attach isn't really built for smaller seats/headrests Summary: We bought this system to entertain our son on longer car rides (we live in a small city, with a minimum 30 minute drive to any larger city) and it has done the trick. If you have a cigarette adapter that only operates when the car is running, you never have to turn of the player. The unit was working just great for the first two hours of the eight hour trip. After about two hours the unit started to give off an eletronic burning type smell, a few moments later the unit stopped working. Strengths: NA Weaknesses: NA Summary: This was the best investment that we could of ever made. We take it in the vehicle every time we go somewhere and the kids love it! It is very easy to setup and take down and the carrycase is very convenient to keep everything together. It is very simple to use, it doesn't have alot of complicated directions. Very simple!
