 good player, but an issue Strengths: the player is fun to use and i am happy with that aspect of it, portable with a remote and a good battery, keeps the kids happy
Weaknesses: s-video adapter not available at all
Summary: the s-video adapter is one that some portables are using - a 3.5mm (earphone styled) plug on one end of the cable, s-video on the other end.
it says in the documentation that the s-video cable is not supplied with the device. what they don't tell you is that you can't get one.
i contacted durabrand's manufacturing group which is listed in the manual that comes with the player (www.lenoxx.com) that supplies wal-mart and they informed me that not only do they not sell direct (they only provide things to wal-mart and some other chains) they don't even make a cable to fit the port.
basically as long as it isnt s-video you need it for, then it is the product for you. cost is not high and it does a good job of keeping my friend's kids happy on car trips.
