Summary: Service is everything! In today’s world of internet shopping, service is more important than ever to the buyer. In this area the manufacturer is extremely lacking. When my cotton candy machine arrived I examined it and noted some damage to the exterior. Approximately 1 inch by 1 inch was dented with some paint missing. It was obviously a manufacturing defect because the box had no signs of damage. The area was small enough that I decided it wasn’t worth the effort and time to ask for a replacement, so I proceeded to assemble the unit. Unfortunately when assembly was all but completed I noticed the pot was also damaged with both sides curled over inwardly. Again it was obvious this was manufacturing mishap. I tried to correct the condition and succeeded in doing a halfway decent job. However I wasn’t happy that the condition was far from new and so I called the manufacture to have my 90 day warranty honored. They proceeded to ask where I purchased the unit, and with my response informed me that that seller wasn’t on their list so they would not honor the warranty. I said they had to be kidding. Well to make this long story short, after a week of seller buyer and distributor communications, the manufacturer finally committed to honor the warranty but only if I returned the entire unit. I couldn’t believe it rather than permit me to ship the 2 lb damaged part for replacement they insisted I disassemble the unit and ship back the whole thing. I almost did but after looking at an hour and a half of breaking it down and packaging and the same to reassemble the replacement, plus not knowing if the replacement might be in worse condition I did just what they probably hoped for, I said forget it. Shame on me but it just wasn’t worth the foreseeable aggravation. So why did I give them a two star rating instead of one. I did so because the unit actually performs as stated and produces 3 good size cotton candies per minute. My unit is a little messy because the sugar escapes from the bend area of the damage pot, but it could be worst. Clean up of the unit is relatively easy. I believe this unit will do well if support improves, but it’s doomed otherwise, because others will not be as kind in their rating under similar failings and on top of that you’ve been warned
