Strengths: Color, Look-and-feel of the fabric, safety reputation
Weaknesses: price, mannual is attached to the seat, 40 lbs limit
Summary: Though I only heard of Britax safety, likely I had not have the chance to see it working. However, I have no doubts in its durability. It sort of remind me my first 1988 Oldsmobile car: huge, safe and comforting
Fabric choice is pretty good because not getting heat up under the sun and yet can be wiped off if messy (we know how handy the ability to pick up after kids is ;)
My only concern: my 11-mo. old son would need a new one once he reaches 40 lbs. So in 24 mo. we would need a new one. May you are better off selecting a car seat with 65 lbs … but who knows
As the disadvantage, the manual is attached to the car seat and you can’t remove it. If you are trying to read it, forget it. Better watch the video tutorial on car installation from Britax website or take it to the fire department
One other point: it seems the Roundabout is lacking the side-impact protection. Again, not that I tested… but it seems like it is the weak point of the system
