1 Star ReviewToshiba has the worst tech support I have ever run ...
Strengths: This laptop does have a super-fast processor, beautiful 17" widescreen display, comfortable keyboard & touchpad. It also has more ports than probably any other on the market.
Weaknesses: Alas, it has a less than tolerable sound problem - no matter what you do to settings or volume wheel, you need to lean your ear on the keyboard to hear it. It is a power pig w/only 1.5hrs capacity.
Summary: Toshiba has the worst tech support I have ever run in to. Their sales reps drop you once the sale is consumated, techs from Turkey who barely speak or understand English are what you are left to... if there's a problem which I am sure you will have. Their replacement of the 1st laptop that arrived DOA, came w/o an ac/dc plug/adapter. I had to beg and threaten a lawsuit to get one sent FedEx to me. Their on Hard Disk documentation in PDF form, says I should have a remote to operate the DVD-CD from across a room. There was no remote in the first or second laptop's box. They claimed it is just an accessory, which is not included, which they don't know the part # for, and which they can't sell to me. They also can't say where I can purchase it. This is absurd treatment from one of the top laptop manufacturers today. SHAME ON TOSHIBA!!!!

1 Star ReviewToshiba P25 Laptop Monitor/Display Failure
Strengths: Nice clarity on the screen when it works.
Weaknesses: Product goes blank frequently, and my unit is on it's third motherboard and second FL-inverter. The problem has NOT improved despite repeated "repairs".
Summary: I will never purchase another Toshiba product. It's just too unreliable. That's unfortunate because I like other features. Getting it serviced has become a part-time job for me!
