Strengths: Quick, almost future proof PC for media, comes with wireless keyboard/mouse, remote control
Weaknesses: Anemic video card, No DVI, no parallel/serial ports, limited PCI slots
Summary: A great all around PC. I had to upgrade the video card right away for gaming, which unfortunately takes up two slots. There are only 3 PCI slots availble, and they are all taken when you open the box. TV tuner card, modem, and wireless card occupy the slots. I had to remove the modem card to make room for the video card, and I had to remove the wireless card to make room for a parallel port card. The weaknesses were far outweighed by the strengths on this beast of a machine. it's quiet too! Includes the media bay for your sd cards, as well as a bunch of ports on the front for AV purposes. Setup was a breeze, and hp support is excellent. Mine came with the remote's reciever missing, and hp was more than happy to send one out right away. The Core 2 Duo is screaming fast. I burned a DVD while playing Graphics intensive games, and everything went smooth.
I don't use the modem because my printer has one, and I don't use wireless because this pc sits next to the router. If you plan on installing any other cards, you will defnitely be limited in your options.
If you can overlook the limited expandability, this PC is a great buy for the price.
