Strengths: Solid build, easy to use thumb-keys, nice display Weaknesses: None so far Summary: 2007-10-15 18:56:46 I bought this only because I found it at a local office store for $26.00. I wasn't expecting too much but have been pleasantly surprised so far. The sound is generally good from MP3 files, but not on par with my iPod Nano. The included earphones are what you would expect, but I use my iPod phones instead. I haven't tried a large secure digital memory card yet, but my 512MB card works just fine. Don't know if it would work with a 1 or 2GB card. I would say if you can find it for under $30 it is a bargain. 100% of People (3/3) found this review helpful. The sound quality of the mp3 player is surprisingly good, almost on par with my ipod. Wish the volume were a bit louder, but using a headset with built in volume control will help. Unlike the ipod, it takes secure digital sd cards so mp3 can easily be downloaded from your pc. There are many additonal features, e.g. world clock, calculator, built in games, currency converter, metric converter. Also this device can play audio books and podcasts while you look up words upon solving crossword puzzles. The crossword puzzle solver for finding the missing letters is good. Search function for quickly and easily finding the correct spelling or definition.
