Weaknesses: No improvement or difference from Nascar 06
Summary: This is the PS2 version of Nascar 07. The 07 edition is basically the same as the 06 edition. Season mode, career mode and Chase For The Cup are back. Career mode takes you through the modified series, Craftsmen trucks, Busch and Nextel. If you are good enough to produce specific lap times on the challenges, you may even start your career at a higher class. Gameplay and graphics are pretty much the same as the 06 edition. Control continues to be a problem for the Nascar series. It is very difficult to stay on line, especially in a pack. Total team control is also back. You have the ability to communicate with your teammate either via headset or right analog stick. You also have the ability to take over your teammate’s car. Overall, I would recommend this game only to those that did not pick up the 06 edition. It is not a bad game but there is little to no improvement over Nascar 06.
