Strengths: Perfect size for my 12 year old, she loved the ring tones and the color and style
Weaknesses: None noted
Summary: I loved the phone, would recommend, lots of features for a gadget minded user.
Small in size but perfect when space is limited. Comes with a neat belt clip if needed.

Strengths: Attractive design, lightweight. Lots of ringtones to choose from. Built-in phonebook.
Weaknesses: Reception just ok.
Summary: I have a wireless network at home, and use VoIP for my telephone service. I am told that this phone works great with a wireless network, however I do experience interference and complaints that it is hard to hear me. I do not know whether that is a function of the phone or the VoIP service. It is still better than my old Vtech system, however.

Strengths: Good signal quality. Easy to set up and use.
Weaknesses: Nothing yet.
Summary: Bought this dual cordless phone set to replace one that had started to buzz horribly. After a month (not long enough to really know anything about reliability) this set is still sounding clear in both locations. Some people have mentioned that the buttons are small, but I haven't had any problems dialing.

Strengths: Good Features, easy setup.
Weaknesses: A little small
Summary: This phone replaced some Siemens 2.4ghz phones that I had been using for the past 3 years. Right off the bat the don't have the explicit security features theh Siemens have but you can reset the relationship between phone and base which seems to alter a code or channel used.
Range is great as well as battery life. The ringers leave a little to be desired but the ability to assign different rings depending on the caller is a good feature. You can also set whether or not you want the phone to flash when someone in your phonebook calls.
The speakerphone is pretty good too. There is a feature to use these as a walkie-talkie set but I havent gotten around to using that.
Overall for the price it cant be beat. I have the base within 2 feet of a 802.11g wireless AP and there is no signal loss for either system.
I'd buy this Uniden model again. It doesn't make sense to spend more when there is a product this inexpensive that works this well. Check ConsumerReports too this unit is a best buy in their 900-2.4-5ghz phone reviews.

Strengths: They are high quality, crystal clear, Impressive features,
including walkie talkie.
Weaknesses: The stlye of the main cradel looks strange if wall mounted
Wish I could add more than 4 units.
Summary: Very satisfied this was my 2nd set of these phones. There isn't any other features that I would want in a phone. The speaker hone quality is impressive. I don't get complaints from people I speak with about clarity.
I have a voip system and can access my phone box with one press of a button. It just doesn't get better than this!

Strengths: 2.4Ghz Digital, large phonebook, expandable, only requires 1 phone jack for up to 4 phones, Caller ID/Caller ID on Call Waiting, Assign unique ring tone to numbers in phonebook.
Weaknesses: phone is almost too small. Would like both phones to share ONE phonebook, special battery required (instead of standard rechargeables), no "line in use" indicator on handset.
Summary: Our Vtech dual phone set was failing and I was looking for a good (better?) replacement. The features I read up on about the Uniden DCT646-2 seemed to fit the bill very nicely. I enjoy the large phonebook capacity and that it is expandable to up to 4 phones. While every room I have a phone has a phone jack, I'm not limited to where to place the second phone since it just needs to be within range of the "mother ship". The phone is almost too small though. Feels more like a small cell phone than a "regular" phone. I liked our Vtech model because it used AAA rechargeables instead of the special "cordless phone" battery. I do miss the "line in use" indication on the handset like we had with our old phone.
I also wish that these phones shared one phonebook instead of having to "sync" them manually.
Overall, I like these phones and hope they last a lot longer than what they replaced.

Strengths: Expandable, attractive, compact, lots of features
Weaknesses: Nothing major
Summary: I like these phones. Yes, the handsets and buttons are very small. So these are not going to be perfect for everyone, but I like the design. The ringtone options are the best of the phones that I've owned. There are a lot of cool features like call transfer, etc. Ignore reviews that say you can't use two of these phones at the same time (conference call); the literature says that you can, and I've done it myself.
My only complaint is that the LCD displays a message only when another 646 phone is in use (not any other phones on the same line). I previously owned a VTech EV2625 that would display the "other handset in use" message when ANY phone on the same line was in use. I think that was unintentional behavior, but I loved it.
BTW, my Uniden cordless phones have been much better than the others brands I've owned. I highly recommend them.

Strengths: compact, multiple ringtones, speakerphone, many advanced features
Weaknesses: small keys
Summary: This set of two phones is excellent. The best feature that comes standard with Uniden cordless phones is that additional headsets dont need to connect to a phone line. They work through base station. Lots of cool options like assigning ring tones to different callers or making conference calls. You can even use these phones as walkie talkies.

Strengths: Signal clarity, ring options, performance.
Weaknesses: None as of yet.
Summary: This was the most expensive phone I've ever gotten, but I think it has been well worth the money so far. It is a very stylish phone that is almost reminds me of a cell phone because of its size, and ringtones. There are some really cool features that go along with this phone. I tried directly connecting the phones ("walky talky mode") and got about 300 feet before the signal lost. It even has a loud speaker phone, which is just amazing for such a small phone. I'd highly recommend this phone to anyone in need of a higher-than-average quality phone with many unique features.

Strengths: Small, portable, easy to pocket. Excellent set of features for price.
Weaknesses: Reception a bit tinny when volume turned up. Dial buttons too small.
Summary: While this is one of the better cordless phones I've tried, my older Uniden Tru phone still has better sound quality than this phone. Other than that, this set of 2 phones has a great set of useful features I wanted for a reasonable price: digital, speakerphone, intercom, phonebook sync, lighted dial. A nice bonus is the flashing light that illuminates when ringing; nice if you want to turn the ringer off. The small size of this phone makes it very easy to put into a shirt pocket when going outdoors. The trade off to size is the way too tiny size of the buttons. This is not a good phone if you have poor eyesight or large clumsy fingers. I have not tested the extreme range of this phone yet, but reception seems more than adequate in the city when going out into the yard or even a few doors down (both about 150 yds).

Strengths: Looks great. Easy to use. Number of features.
Weaknesses: Clarity not as good as expected. Often hear static even with the clarity booster.
Summary: The phone is satisfactory to my needs. A loud ringer in a loud environment. I enjoy the message light so I don't have to pick up the phone every time to see if there are any messages. It looks good and has a lot of features. However, the clarity could be better. there is still static with the clarity booster. It may just be my phone-line. I have not had any problems hearing people in a noisy work place and they have not had trouble hearing me. The reason I purchased a new phone. Overall I'm satisfied with the phone and would purchase one again.

Strengths: 2.4 Ghz Clear and Long range. Lots of options. Direct connect walkie talkie thing. Small. Really Great phone
Weaknesses: Cant use both phones at the same time.
Summary: Great range, Actually used to replace a 5.8 GHZ system yes, a 5.8ghz. These are awesome phones 2 phones for a great deal. You cant go wrong with these. They are small too, which is usualy a good thing, unless you have really big hands then this may become a problem, Great deal overall though.
