Strengths: Plenty of features, at a great price. Small and compact.
Weaknesses: No battery backup for incoming voice messages. If the power goes out, your unheard messages will be gone.
Summary: A quality unit at an affordable price. It's packed with lots of features, and the voice quality is good. The availability of different ringtones is an added plus. And you can access your voice messages from the handset itself. I'm pretty pleased with this purchase.

Strengths: Handling 4 handsets with only 1 phone line connection needed.
Intercom can be useful. Decent battery life.
Weaknesses: Wish it could handle a few more handsets.
Handsets are almost too small.
Summary: While most rooms have phone jacks in houses these days, they aren't always on the most convenient wall, only needing a phonejack for the main base is the main reason I got the setup.
Handsets are almost too small, pressing buttons without fatfingering can be difficult, it is easy for me to press 3 buttons at once if not careful. Otherwise, nothing else bad to say about this phone, other than I wish I could program about 6 handsets to it.
I like it enough that I purchased a couple extra sets, one for backup parts, and one for a future 2nd phone line.

Strengths: Excellent.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: The range and clarity is excellent. I had a problem with the connection at first but had it fixed by the Phone Company and now it works wonderful. No interference what so ever. The features are great, just what I needed. The handset is light and has speaker phone. I'm very happy with this item and I highly recommend it to those who are looking for a great phone.

Summary: Has a great set of features that are included (direct link between phones for 2-way communication, baby monitoring, speakerphone, ring tone selection, and much more!). Overall...convenient size, weight, technology, and price.

Strengths: Length of battery talk time & longevity..same one for 4 years!
Weaknesses: Absolutely none.
Summary: I have had a set of these since July 2004. They have been dropped numerous times and used headset plugs the entire time with no problems. If you keep them off the charger until the warning beeps the batteries will last 4 years! The range is unbelievable compared to others I have tried.

Strengths: Great quality, long battery life, high quality of voice.
Weaknesses: The appearance not quite fashion.
Summary: There are one basic DCT6485 and two headsets in my aunt's house. They are great! With good voice quality and long battery life, the kids always use it as walkie-talkie with their friends when they are playing games online. So I decide to buy one for my parents. It's great gift.

Summary: I have used this phone and is easy to set up and has a bright color backlight that helps ...
You can also have selectable alerts that can be very helpful.
The capacity to expand makes it easy to place it anywhere with all one phone jack.

Strengths: Small and compact. I like the intercom feature and lighted dial.
Weaknesses: Long time for the batteries to charge the first time around.
Summary: Excellent value. I have priced similar sets and this has the most features for the buck. Speaker phone is very handy when trying to write information. I recommend this unit highly.
