Strengths: much improved battery management than my earlier solar atomic by Casio.
Weaknesses: Can be a bit hard to see in certain dimly lighted rooms.
Summary: I have tried quite a few atomic watches, and two of them were solar by Casio. This one is the best overall. Where others seem to try numerous times in the night to get the updated time, even though they get it the first time, this one will stop attempting to get the time once it receives it correctly. This helps save the battery. Also, this one is much faster than my previous solar watches to go to sleep mode. Both of these features make this a better watch than my prior solar watch. The numbers are large, and easy to read. It is fairly intuitive in use. I only wish I had the model with the different display. This darker display can be a bit hard to see. It does have a back-light though for times you have to see it in a darker room.

Strengths: durable, accurate, functional
Weaknesses: expensive
Summary: I prefer digital watches (number display) to rotary watches. But most digital watches are for fitness or toy-like; it's hard to find one that's serious. I got this Casio for work and picked it out because of its steel/glass facade. Little did I know that this watch is packed with unusual features.

+the watch sets itself every night using a radio signal sent from Ft. Collins, Colorado. Now I can time myself exactly when the trains pull into the station.

+the facade of the watch contains a solar panel that recharges the battery, so there won't be a need to change batteries for many years.

+durable steel band. solid feel. Unlike many lesser casios with chrome-plated plastic; this watch is fully-steel.

+four alarm settings.

+world time (select any time zone around the world).

Very nice and presentable watch.

Strengths: Reliability, appearance is excellent without being gaudy.
Weaknesses: Can be difficult to view in weak light environments.
Summary: I thoroughly enjoy this time piece. As a Substitute Teacher, I find that it keeps the school class schedules accurate within 5 - 7 seconds, thus my scheduling class work tasks become easier.
