Strengths: Steam washing; tons of features; front-loading; stackable
Weaknesses: Expensive!!
Summary: I purchased this along with the matching dryer, as we were remodelling, and needed to conserve some floor space. The stacking option was a nice way to get a high-end washer/dryer pair without sacrificing features (like those cheapie apartment stackable washer/dryer combos). There are a slew of washing options which I have yet to use, and no, I have not used the steaming function yet! I am going to leave that for my wife to try out, as she wanted to be able to zap a blouse or slacks real quick in the morning. I will update my review once I get her comments on this feature and others.
The capacity is quite large, as we were able to fit a king-size comforter into it (as well as the dryer). Did a great job cleaning, and the dog/cat hair was removed! :-)
My only real knock is that it is really expensive! Come on, over $1300 for a clothes washer??!! That is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. I have only heard and read good things about LG appliances, so I am hoping that proves to be true.
I kind of wish I got the flashy red ones instead, but could not see spending another $100 per unit, or $200, for this option!
