Strengths: Really tough outer body and speakers. Carrying pouch on back a real bonus.
Weaknesses: A bit heavier than most. Not able to use regular alkaline batteries. Must use Milwaukee rechargeable battery packs and chargers.
Summary: This radio is a real gem. I like the fact that it is EXTREMELY tough and won't easily break like other radios I have had before. This one is tough enough for the garage and work area as well as outdoors on the deck. I like the carrying pouch A LOT. It helps to bring those extra added accessories around such as your MP3 player and extra batteries. Not having a CD player included is somewhat of a disappointment, but these days, who uses CD's that much anyway? While the looks of it may not be for everyone -- it's definitely more of a contractor type of radio -- I am totally in love with this radio for around the home, camping, everyday use indoors and out. Plus, the bang for the buck was EXCELLENT!

Strengths: LOUD, good bass
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: This radio kicks Dewalt butt. We did a side-by-side jobsite comparison, same station, and with both radios cranked, this Milwaukee jobsite radio WAAYYYY overpowered the Dewalt in volume AND bass. Clean sound, digital tuning. Good reception. 1/8" stereo jack for MP3 player or CD, even has car power plug. Too bad it doesn't have a battery charger built in like the Dewalt. Thats the only thing.
