Strengths: Easy to assemble, light weight
Weaknesses: Can't get into corners
Summary: Purchased mainly to clean my tile kitchen floor. First try right out of the box it picked up about half the debris, mostly sand and some small leaves from a house plant. The rest it just pushed around ahead of the machine and up against the walls where you can't get to it. It worked the same way on my hardwood floors. I can't say how it works on carpets as I don't have any. I think it needs a second rotoblade to help stop the debris from shooting out the front rather than being picked up as it was designed to do.

Strengths: Great for quickly cleaning up the area under my daughters high chair (cheerios, cracker crumbs, pieces of fruit, etc.) It seems to pick up almost everything.
Weaknesses: Sometimes things that go in find their way out again (cheerios mostly). Also, a bit difficult to push on my carpet.
Summary: I like having this product in my home. It isn't a vaccuum cleaner but it's not meant to be. It does a good job cleaning up after feeding my 11 month old daughter who likes to "drop" her food in our carpeted dining room. I, of course, still need to vaccuum once a week. Before having the Hoky I was pulling out the vaccuum after each meal.

Some reviews I read before purchasing this product stated that it's good for stairs - I'm not sure how it could be. I find it difficult to run on a step.

Overall, I like this product. I'm not holding out for the one item that does stairs, isn't heavy, doesn't need to be plugged in, sucks up all kinds of dirt, food, etc. and costs little.
