Strengths: simultaneous charging of phone and battery
Weaknesses: Main weakness is size; not ideal for travelling.
Summary: It uses your existing AC travel charger with the USB charging tip, which plugs into the back of this product.

Very nice how you can charge the phone + another standard battery OR xt battery- it has a plastic sleeve that adjusts the width of the battery pocket to accomodate either one.

Main drawback is that it's not "foldeable" so it's hard to put into a computer bag or backpack. Also, wasn't sure what the LED

lights meant at first, but figured it out:

charger will always begin charging phone first, even if spare battery was 90% full and only had 10% left to go. It will begin charging phone up to full capacity and then return to charging the battery.

The LED only indicates charging status of battery; you must look at phone's screen icons to see if its charged.

Flashing amber LED: means spare battery is waiting to be charged, and will begin once phone has been fully charged.

Flashing green LED: spare battery is being charged

Solid green LED: spare battery has been charged to full capacity.

Strengths: charges battery and Q at same time.
Weaknesses: Uses either sync cable or AC adaptor. Can't do both, so if you USB can't keep up with demand you have to use the AC charger and not stay synced.
Summary: Great product but Moto should have figured a way to allow for an AC option at the same time as a sync cable. I didn't pay retail, but if I did, I would be pissed that I have to pick either sync or AC charge. I have poor reception in my building, and with Push email turned on, the USB port can't keep up with the power drain. If I had a second battery to charge, there is NO WAY the USB 2.0 port would keep up, ever. Great product though, if you want the PPC cradle look and feel.
