Strengths: Very good, sharp picture. Nice colors
Weaknesses: None yet
Summary: I've bought that TV after I compared its picture with some other 27' TV's offered in store. This one had the best colors and the best crisp picture. It also looks nice, even when turned off. For that price you cannot go wrong

Strengths: Attractive, good picture and sound
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I love this TV

The sound is great, the picture quality is excellent. When I have the TV on antenna (we don't have cable), there's the usual interference, but when playing a dvd, the picture is perfect.

The TV is very attractive, blends well into the room despite its large size. And although it is very heavy, there are two ergonomically placed handles for lifting. My girlfriend was able to unpack and place the TV in our house by herself.

Controls are useful - both on the TV and on the remote (which by the way I also love).

I had read all sorts of reviews and thought this TV was the best in its price range. Now that it's here, I am very satisfied.

Strengths: Good picture and sound quality, 16:9 mode, quality universal remote, nice look, price.
Weaknesses: Few controls on the box, have to press the button 4 times to switch to component video input (aka Color Stream).
Summary: I bought this TV two month ago for $300 at Best Buy. I liked it very much. It has a flat screen, a clear and contrasty picture, nice sound. I slightly tweaked color saturation and brightness controls but the default were good too. I compared it to the rival models from Panasonic and Sony at the store and I really liked Toshiba’s picture the best and it had the lowest price too! The remote control feels good to the touch and it does not feel cheap as many of them do nowadays. It’s pretty convenient and the buttons glow in the dark. It is universal, so I control my DVD player using it as well. I connected the DVD player with component input and I use an external 5.1 theater system for DVD but I don’t connect the TV itself to that system. The built-in sound is good for me and it is easier to control. The thing that its rivals don’t have and I like and use is mode 16:9. It has a button for it on the remote and widescreen anamorphic DVDs play with a lot better quality when both the DVD player and the TV are set to 16:9. There is a very slight distortion in that mode but here I am really picky. I’ve seen much greater distortion on 4:3 HDTVs in the widescreen mode.

Now about what I don’t like. The component video input is the fourth one and I have to press the ‘TV/Video” button four times to watch DVD. There are few controls on the box so don’t loose the remote! Many functions can be accessed only that way. The picture is less sharp at the corners than in the center. It can be noticed when text is displayed. I haven’t check the other models on this issue though, so I can’t compare. I can see it only when some contrast text is displayed.

Overall, it’s great TV. Well built, stylish, it looks like it’s all screen because its outer size is smaller than the others with the same sized screens. And the Quality/Price ratio is just great!
