Strengths: Excellent image quality. No rainbow effects. A plethora of A/V inputs and outputs (including 2 HDMI ports and a VGA port).
Weaknesses: No PIP. The remote is not back-lit.
Summary: Before buying this set I was concerned that since wobulation is used to achieve full 1080p resolution, the picture quality would be compromised. But in side-by-side comparisons with true 1080p plasma and LCD screens, I noticed no discernable difference in image quality. And, I have not seen any rainbow effects during the five days I've had this TV. The set comes with a remote that is NOT back-lit - it's very hard to use the remote in a dimly lit environment (e.g. when watching a movie). On the plus side, at least it's a universal remote. The speaker output is a full 10 Watts, which is plenty for watching broadcast/cable television. But, for watching movies (especially, movies with good sound effects) you'll definitely want to make use of a good sound system. Overall, this is an awesome TV!

Strengths: Sheer size of screen, tons of inputs, 1080p
Weaknesses: Still need to somewhat control ambient light, no native picture in picture.
Summary: I bought this Samsung 67" 1080p DLP on sale bundled with a beautiful matching black stand in January for less than what I paid for a Samsung 50" 720p DLP 18 months earlier. The Samsung website now lists this HL-S6767W model as "This product is no longer available", likely replaced by the HL-T6756W.

Anyway, this tv doesn't appear to be overwhelmingly large sitting among the other big tv's at the store, but when brought home and set up, it is HUGE. To this day, my dog still barks whenever he sees animals on this tv... he never did that with the previous 50" tv we had.

Standard definition analog cable channels are tolerable to watch from, say, 10+ feet away. High definition channels (with high def content) are where this baby starts to shine. Viewing HD-DVD's at full 1080p are simply breathtaking.

I guess as with most dlp tv's, you don't want a lot of bright ambient light in the room (read: sunshine coming in from windows/sliding doors) as the picture will not seem as "intense" as it could be and also the possibility of glare reflecting off the screen.

Another minor annoyance is that picture-in-picture is not native to this tv. The wife and I have adjusted to its absence and is now practically a non-issue. Although the dog still hasn't gotten accustomed to the sheer size of this tv, the wife and I have, and our next tv will have to be this size or larger. Hopefully when that time comes, it will follow the trend and be larger and cheaper than the HL-S6767W!

Strengths: From more than 8 ft distance picture looks excellent. HD channels looks good. looks like we are in cinema hall (movie theatre). Standard channels and DVDs look excellent
Weaknesses: If we try to view it from close it doesn't show very clear picture
Summary: 2007-04-09 06:53:20 I love this TV. I got it as a wedding anniversary gift.

Overall, this is an awesome TV!. We bought it at a very good price.

It is so big, It didn't fit in our minivan. We had to get it shipped through company.

Movies with good sound quality looks as if we are watching in a movie theatre.

Good for watching games too.

I compared it with plasma and other LCD TVs. The colors are so good doesn't effect eyes.

Before buying this TV I was thinking, this will look too big my my family room.

It is just perfect for my family room. Room size is 22X22

If you are planning to buy this TV don't buy it for a smaller sized room. Otherwise it would look too big.

I am attaching few pictures of how it looks in the room
