Lancome Bienfait Multi-Vit SPF 30 creme: Good enough, but no wows for this price
Strengths: It contains a lot of nutritious ingredients, vitamins and plant extract, as listed on its product webpage. Sunscreen and moisturizer 2 in 1. Convenient for daily protection. Easy to absorb.
Weaknesses: Would be too greasy for oily skin, marginally okay for combination type except for hot and humid days. Kinda expensive.
Summary: I have combination, acne-prone skin. During the past few weeks of using this product, I have had blemishes going on, but I don't think they are worse than before. So I would not say the creme is acnegenic. Plus, it saves the application of extra sunscreen, and it is absorbed remarkably quickly.
The reason I bought the creme is for the nutritious factors which can hopefully reduce the prematuration of my skin out of years of acne fighting. I waited for almost a month to write this review in order to give a better evaluation on this part. Unfortunately I don't think I see much positive effect. No bad effect, either. I started using Estee-Lauder Advanced Night Repair at night a few days ago. That one seems to brighten my skin tone just after a couple of uses.
This Lancome creme is a bit greasier than desired. On hot days, my face would shine with oil in about half a day. I don't think the skin feels heavy though, so I presume it is just the normal oil secretion. It might actually indicate that the creme does not clog pores, so that the oil runs free. Under the recent cool weather this problem reduces.
In summary, I think this product does not help much with my skin type. It probably works better for drier skins. For this price, I'd expect better result, but I don't see any. The bottom line is that it does not make my skin worse, whereas many products I used before simply mess up my skin. For me it is a safe but moderate product so far, and a bit too pricey.
I'll update my review if it does me any good in the long run.
