Strengths: Good Appearance on desktop, Great Contrast and brightness. Response time is great, even in quick changing video scenes, and even with quickly changing brightness/contrast. Good price
Weaknesses: Some of these models may have a DVI input. Mine didn't.Had to Change some settings from default(easily accessed on frt panel to get a more pleasing display.
Summary: This is my 1st LCD. Very happy with my choice. No dead Pixels and none after 45 days. Great handling of refresh, easy resetting of default settings. Have recommended to others, especially after seeing some of the models other friends have purchased. This is a great buy.

Strengths: Excellent monitor, with speakers and DVI!
Weaknesses: Speakers aren't so great but what do you expect for little speakers built into the monitor.
Summary: I love this monitor. Movies on it look fantastic. The monitor has different modes you can select for viewing text , graphics etc. Looks really nice in the living room as well. Good Buy.

Strengths: Refresh Rate, Widescreen, contrast, brightness, Price
Weaknesses: Resolution, Control buttons are hard
Summary: I got this LCD as a second monitor for my machine. So far I am very pleased with the performance. This LCD has a good refresh rate. It was truly plug and play and has good contrast and brightness. I did not like the control panel buttons which feel little hard when using. The control menu is fine but could have been easier to use. Initially it was not intuitive as to which buttons to press for scrolling.
The picture quality is good, the resolution could have been higher but then I knew of the resolution before the purchase so its ok. At the low price, this sure is a good deal.

Strengths: Thin Bezel, Wide Screen, Price
Weaknesses: No DVI
Summary: This is a great monitor for the price. Bright display and no dead pixels. It has a fast refresh rate and works well for gaming. I have installed many of these monitors for my clients, and they all love the screen. Also looks good when playing movies.

Strengths: Sharp image quality, DVI and RGB inputs
Weaknesses: None to write about really
Summary: Having never had an Acer anything before, I was a little worried when I bought this monitor. You shouldn't be. The image quality has been excellent for me, much better, in my opinion, then my main BenQ 20" LCD. I've had a number of, mostly Dell, LCDs, and I think this Acer is my favorite, in terms of image quality.
It also has DVI and RGB, which is very useful as well. If I had to complain, it'd be nice to have some USB inputs, but frankly, few LCDs do, and I don't know of any 19" ones that do.
Very good purchase.

Strengths: Very crisp image quality, Very good outer appearance, high resolution support.
Weaknesses: No DVI, No HDMI, No advanced settings
Summary: After purchasing this monitor I have used it extensively and realized that it is one of the best that they can offer for a cheap price. I paid around $120 and got it from Staples. The monitor is very good when it comes to image quality and it excels over my envision monitor. It costs less compared to others because it does not offer DVI or HDMI that you need.

Strengths: The image is sharp and the price is cheap.
Weaknesses: Color is a little bit warm/red
Summary: I have this LCD for 2 weeks now and so far I love it. I mainly use it for browsing internet and playing games and the color is great at 1400 x 900 resolution. This LCD is the best for the money. I recommend it to everyone who is shopping for a 19". It is widescreen and watching movies on DVD are just great. The only complaint is that the colors are a little bit warm/red.

Strengths: Price / performance
Weaknesses: none
Summary: There is no ghosting on games. The 5ms response time takes care of that and the color is amazing. It's a wide screen so you can have mutiple screens up. For the price you can't beat it.

 Good value for price Strengths: high brightness & easy to use setup
Weaknesses: standard resolution @ 1280 * 1024 has some skewing
Summary: I got this monitor in a deal and it works great with my laptop. The monitor has some pixel skewing at different resolutions but works great @ 1440 * 900. The pixel color is a little different than the actual colors but can be adjusted using custom settings.
Overall, its a good value for the price.

Strengths: Good Size, bright image and awsome colors.
Weaknesses: Got one dead pixel.
Summary: This is a good monitor, good size, bright image,the color is awsome, but got one dead pixel, very good for my desktop, easy to adjust direction, sound is great too. I want to get another 19" LCD monitor, put them together, that must be perfect for games. I also do a lot of AUTOCAD work, the color is really good. I am really happy to have this.

Strengths: Resolution is sharp, bright, 5ms video response time
Weaknesses: No speakers, no DVI input
Summary: This is a pretty good monitor, haven't noticed any backlighting issues and there were no dead pixels. Resolution is nice, sharp and bright and the 5ms refresh rate means you can use it for games without any problem.
The only problem I found is that this monitor doesn't have a DVI input. Although the description doesn't mention the monitor having one. It's not something you look carefully at, as one would expect a 19W monitor to have a DVI input by default.
All in all this is a nice monitor and very affordable.

Strengths: Size and price
Weaknesses: No DVI
Summary: I recently built a core 2 dual and needed an LCD. This ACER was on sale for about $160. Bought one and hooked it up. It worked no problem. It does not have DVI. This is OK to me since I do not want to pay some extra for a new video card. I wish it has a built-in speaker.
