Strengths: Light weight but with enough heel cushioning to handle down hill impacts easily. Breathes well to keep your feet from overheating. Nice ground hugging profile with a great transition.
Weaknesses: Minimal forefoot cushioning becomes evident after the first 18 miles of a long run for this 160# runner.
Summary: I was extremely pleased with my Mizuno Wave Rider 9, except they seemed a bit too heavy for me to use as racing shoes for distances under 15 miles, which is why I tried my hand...er, foot at the very similar (just lighter)Precision. So far, I am happy with my selection as it has given me all that I expected. The improved responsiveness I have received from this shoe balances out the reduction in cushioning from what I was previously used to.
