 What happened to the Flash in flash drive - this is S-L-O-W Strengths: Beautiful design... clean and crisp looking, Cover snaps on securely when in use.
Weaknesses: Very very painfully slow.
Summary: When I purchased my first 64 mb flash drive in 2002, I loved the convenience of it. I could carry files to and from home / work and pack much more info than with a floppy. As I purchased more flash drives, I was amazed how much speedier they got... and I stopped using the first one as it took sooooooo long to copy files to and from it.
Well, I got that s-l-o-w experience again when I purchased this 2gb U230 drive from PQI. Ohmygod is it slow! Where other flash drives take, like, 10 seconds to synchronize my files to my hard drive, this one takes well over a minute to move the same volume. It's like working with a T1 internet connection all day and then coming home and installing a large service pack on your OS with dial up! There are far faster flash drives out there than this one.
