Strengths: 2-HMDI Connections, Source shifting capability.
Weaknesses: wish it was 1080p as rest 96d series
Summary: Enjoy this product, color and picture quality are exceptional. Easy to operate, not overwhelming. HDMI ports make digital surround sound simple to connect. Work's well with a Dish Network 622 HD Receiver.

Strengths: highest contrast ratio lcd (at one point!), inputs, menu
Weaknesses: glossy finish, not the highest contrast ratio lcd anymore
Summary: I purchased this TV a couple months before the "T32" series came out. My loss. I got this TV because at the time, it had the highest contrast ratio of any LCD. But now, the "T32" series has higher contrast ratios for a lower price.

The picture quality is great from all types of inputs. The menu is pretty intuitive. One downside is the glossy finish that reflects some ambient light in your room.

In conclusion, if you can find this TV for cheaper than the "T32" series and it's in your budget, get it. If not, go for the "T32" series.

Strengths: just the best money can buy.
Weaknesses: price lol (though it's worth the cash if you can afford it). sound, it's good for tv speakers.
Summary: 2006-11-05 13:36:33 Well, I just got this TV last week, and it's pretty much the most expensive 32 inch tv ATM. it is just brilliant. I've been playing my xbox 360 all weekend with this TV (with the VGA HD cables). REALLY nice picture quality. if you dont like this TV you can feel rest assured that you do have the best TV money can buy, and the problem isnt with the TV, but with you lol. This TV isnt bigger than life or better than ***, but it is nicer than any other 32 inch tv out there. If you re a rich baller, and you want to impress your friends, drop down the cash for one of these babies.

sound, it's good for tv speakers. (way better than my last set). but if your buying this type of tv, I assume you already have a new sound sound system in the mail.

one more thing the shear amount of inputs is mind boggling. (2xHDMI, VGA, ETC pretty much everything you need). I like the power light for this system it's sexy (and the cute noise it makes when it turns on).

Strengths: Excellent Picture, Great product design, Easy set up
Weaknesses: No Firewire (IEEE 1394) to plug in a video camera, but you can to the S-Video plug, a cable card slot and a way to view photos directly from a memory card. But I consider these minor issues
Summary: I did a lot of research before deciding to by this Samsung product. It came down to the Sony 32” XBR series or this Samsung LN-S3296D. Both are pricey. I had a lot of second thoughts on the price of both of these sets because there are so many good under $1000 choices available in the 32” LCD TV arena. I went to a retail outlet that carried a number of different manufacture’s 32” LCD TVs and saw a noticeable difference between the lower prices 32” LCD TVs and Sony’s XBR series. I could not find the Samsung LN-S3296D at any local retailer so I could not compare it to any other LCD TV. A number of research items I had reviewed indicated that the Samsung LN- S3296D had a superior picture when compared to the Sony XBR series and that the Samsung was a better value for your dollar. Because I have previously had very good luck with Samsung LCD Monitors for computers I decided to take a leap of faith. It was a good decision. Setup was easy and the picture is great, actually better then I expected. I think the 6000:1 contrast has something to do with it. The only features that this unit is missing are Firewire (IEEE 1394) to plug in a video camera, but you can to the S-Video plug, a cable card slot and USB adapter to view digital photos directly from a memory card. But these are minor items in my opinion. If you are looking for a TV for the Kids playroom I would recommend one of the lower priced options as the value of the high quality picture would be lost on young eyes. But if you do some serious TV or Movie viewing I would strongly recommend the LN-S3296D by Samsung.

Strengths: super picture quality and excellent plug-in configuration
Weaknesses: not 1080p like the rest of the Samsung xx96 series
Summary: Would definitely buy again, super packing easy set up, looks great on and off. The resolution is excellent. Control options are more than expected. Works perfectly with Dish 622VIP DVR

Strengths: Great HD quality. Style.
Weaknesses: Takes too long to turn on. Price. SD TV.
Summary: The tv is great if you don't care about price it was way better then the westinghouse I bought but at double the price. The one lacking thing is more component outputs there is only one. Also when I turn on the tv the response time is pretty laggy but I guess thats with most tvs. I wish it was faster in that department other then that I'm highly satisfied in this high end tv.

Strengths: Best, life like quality picture, almost 3D feel, sharp, beautiful colors, elegant shiny black cabinet to go with any decor, hidden speakers a plus on the overall look of the TV
Weaknesses: Chanel changing not quick enough, remote should be lit and not so long and thin
Summary: Extremely pleased with this purchase; enjoying TV watching again! Never realized how blurry my old TV had become and had so much green tint in it; Samsung definitely has produced once again an excellent quality product; sharp images, beautiful colors! Thought the 32 in. would be too big for my medium size bedroom, but it is not, it became "just the right size" after one day. The sleek look and thinness of this TV is simply a beautiful addition to every home. We would definitely buy a Samsung TV again for our living room, a very big one!!!
