Strengths: Price, HDMI port, light weight.
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: Not sure what the others who reviewed it were watching but I'm satisfied with my unit. Easy set up, HD channels look great after I hooked it up to an HD cable receiver via HDMI. For the price and size, it's worth it. Great for the spare bedroom, dorm, or wherever you can fit a small screen TV.

Strengths: Inexpensive, Extremely Bright even on Medium Setting, Excellent horizontal viewing Angles, Blacks are very close to the real deal. Audio out can be controlled via the Tv's own Volume.
Weaknesses: Speakers are weak, Menu may be confusing to some, Ntsc SD Tuner could have been better. Remote won't win any design awards nor will it control your other AV equipment.
Summary: First of all DO NOT BUY this if you are ONLY planning on using this as a PC MONITOR. If you are buying this to watch TV and DVD's you will be blown away. I paid only $300 on Black Friday 2006 and should be getting $200 back via mail in rebate cuz of signing up for a new cell phone. For that price you cannot go wrong. Also at 15 lbs this is the lightest tv around. Even my wife can move it around easily (not sure if she would want to but hey the option is there :)
In my non technical opinion Colors are very nice and the best part about the LCD is that it's extrmely bright. It is HD Ready so you will need a separate ATSC tuner or cable box to watch HD channels. Dvd's look much better than on a regular SD TV even via S-video. I still have to test Dvd's over HDMI and Component Input however the Xbox 360 looks AMAZING via component input. The Audio Out can be controlled via Tv's volume so you can hook up any powered speakers (all PC speakers are powered) and use them as your primary one's with volume adjustments via the supplied remote which in my opinion is quite functional (It is not a universal remote so it won't control your whole AV equipment). Unfortunately the Audio Out does not mute the Tv's onboard speakers so you will have to mute them via the menu. With this arrangement you can have your own 2.1 surround sound with the TV. ALL in all i would easily recommend this if you can score this for around $200 to $300.

Strengths: Great product for the price & does actually do (& is capable of) what features are listed.
Weaknesses: Not really a weakness but had 1 dead pixel upon arrival. Didn't even notice it for about a week.
Summary: Just like everyone else your a little weary upon purchasing an "off brand" product, but after speaking to a few people in the tech world this tv was recommended because the new series of olevia tvs, which this is, utilize an LG/Phillips panel. It does have a high quality display in my opinion as I have seen more expensive sets lacking in this department. What people have to realize is that you have to hook it up to a high-def source to get high-def. Your ps2 & dvd player you bought 2 years ago aren't high-def...step up to a progressive scan dvd player with HDMI connections and "It's All Good!" And as far as the price...$378 cannot be beat. Also...like everyone else has stated this isn't a home theater or living room set. Try it in a bedroom or den as with any 23" set your viewing distance should be no more than 6-8ft.

Strengths: Price, HDMI port, Component input, S-Video input, Loaded with Input options, Easy, user friendly onscreen menus. Awesome picture.
Weaknesses: Volume at lowest level is a bit loud, but I run it through hi-fi system so it doesn't matter.
Summary: This TV Rocks for the money. I have a $4K Sony Wega HD system and the picture on this is very close in color hue and the detail is fantastic.
Don't know what the other folks are complaining about, but I suspect the guy that bought it as a monitor doesn't realize that a TV is not going to give the same resolution as a computer monitor.
The guy that pounded its resolution probably does not have a hi-def signal, or worse doesn't even have digital service for his TV. If you have an HD set, and run an analog non HD, non-digital signal through it, the HD set will reveal the imperfections of a standard NTSC signal that are hidden in by a standard NTSC CRT television.

Strengths: Nice picture, easy setup, lots of inputs.
Weaknesses: Poor audio speakers, only a headphone jack for output.
Summary: 2006-11-02 23:07:41 I have to say I was a bit worried when I first ordered this TV but I am pleasantly surprised. This is a nice TV with a great picture. For anyone saying it is not HDTV, they are mistaken. Calling it HD ready might be misleading, but this is definitely an HD compatible TV. The description clearly states an NTSC tuner, so an HD tuner will be necessary to get the picture you're expecting. Once I had one from the cable company, I got a very clear and crisp picture. I won't promise you the quality of a Toshiba or other more widely known brand, but for the price this is a great LCD. I do recommend using a home theater system for the audio as the TV speakers are not great and sound flat. This is the consensus from the reviews I read and since I already had one, it did not factor into my decision to purchase this LCD. As far as using it for a computer monitor, if this is your main reason for purchasing this, I'd think twice. It's not a bad picture (using VGA) but it is a tad blurry and with LCD prices coming down a bit, I'd look for something for computers specifically. However, if it's a nice TV you want--especially a secondary or bedroom TV--this one is rather a good bargain.

Strengths: Nice assortment of inputs, including HDMI
NTSC tuner included - Olevia's >23 in don't have them
Great price for what you get
Weaknesses: Not the 100% best audio quality
On-screen menu is a bit confusing at first
Summary: The 323V is a great set, especially considering that it's much cheaper (I paid $378) than comparable sets feature-wise. It's got HDMI input, along with the usual component, s-video, rca, etc - all you should really need, honestly. The included documentation was a tad light, and they try to sell you an extended warranty on the warranty card, but it's just a TV, after all. The picture quality is pretty good, especially coming from HD sources. Definitely worth the money - similar sets from "big box" stores can cost $600-$700.
Not your living room tv at home, but this is great for a bedroom set or a dorm room. If you get the wall-mount, it becomes even more versatile. Highly recommended!

Strengths: Great picture in HD (with HDMI to PS3). Easy to setup.
Weaknesses: Sound sort of weak, but use 5.1 speakers to the headphone jack and sounds perfect.
Summary: Bought this TV for our boy's bedroom for their PS3. They were in awe of the picture in HD. I would recommend this product and all Olevia TV's to anyone wanting to break into the HD world on a budget.

Strengths: Price, easy to set up, light wieght, looks good
Weaknesses: NONE
Summary: This is my first flat panel hd tv. I couldn't have gotten a better tv if I had paid twice as much as the $400.I did. I am very pleased with the picture, and even the sound. Although, next week I'm hooking it up to a new dvd/home theater system. I'm so glad I bought this unit, that I'm telling everybody I know about it. I've shown it to alot of my friends, and they can,t believe how good it is either. If your looking for a tv in this size, buy this one, you'll love it.

Strengths: LCD is crystal clear! no dead pixels!
Weaknesses: Menu is a little strange. Sound is mid-quality at best.
Summary: I would recommend this TV for any bedroom or small room. Only thing I would change are the speakers on the system. Menu options are a little strange, but not a deal breaker.

Not Worth the Cheap Price!
Strengths: LCD
23 inch
Weaknesses: Bad resolution, not real HDTV, poor speaker qualities
Summary: I had hopes for this LCD tv. I got it very cheap, at around $200, which is a super price for a 23" LCD.
But it has such poor resolution, and I'm mad that they claim this is "HDTV-ready"!! It's not HDTV quality. That's false advertising.

Big disappointment .....Keep shopping
Strengths: Price
Weaknesses: Poor cable TV resolution. Blurred / hard to read text when using as a PC monitor. Picture quality unacceptable. Missing vital accessories. Build quality is so-so. Returned after 1 day.
Summary: Had high hopes for this 23" unit based on prior Syntax experience. This unit has very poor image quality (using cable), and as a PC monitor blurs text significantly. Remote and Power cord were missing

Strengths: AMAZING picture quality, great black/white ratio, extremely good contrast, HDMI
Weaknesses: speakers
Summary: To the people rating this TV less than 4 stars, I am not sure if they are looking at the wrong TV because I owned this TV for about 4 months and I love it! I have my PS3 hooked up through HDMI and I have a high-def cable box. The picture quality is STUNNING!! I would have never expected a picture this good on a $300 TV. This TV looks better than 90% of the LCD's in Best Buy that cost double the price. This is a STEAL for the price, especially for gamers. I could never go back to playing PS3 on a standard tv set. The speakers are horrible, but you'll never be satisfied with standard speakers no matter what TV you get so its not really a complaint. I got the Samsung HTX50 Home theatre system to go with my TV...Playing COD4 is unreal!!!!
