Strengths: Very small and compact, carrys a nice amount of songs, skip free, memory stick
Weaknesses: No seek option within a song, bit wide for usb
Summary: This is a very small mp3 player that just as easily doubles as a memory stick. It holds almost 4 cd's (in high 192 kbps), more in lower encodings, which is usually enough for most trips. Flash memory, so it's skip free. It fits literally in the palm of your hand and your fingers can wrap comfortably around it. It's ideal for those who do a lot of exercise and don't want to carry around a big, bulky cd player or is bothered by an armband accessory or doesn't want to chance dropping a precious ipod. Disadvantages are that you can't seek in a song, which means you would need to start the song over or skip it completely (the volume is controlled instead by holding the toggle in either direction, replacing the seek). The other is that even though a major positive is that it plugs right into your usb port (rather than carrying an extra cable with you to save data/music) is that it is wide and takes up more than one plug on the more compact usb hubs. Voice recording is not that great either. Very muddled and fuzzy. Otherwise, it's a small and tough player that acts as data storage in a pinch.
