Strengths: Nice design,Long battary life; fingerprint sensor,Plays DVDs and CDs without booting up.
Weaknesses: Tiny touchpad, a little bulky, tinny speakers.
Summary: It's a thin and light laptop, not too expensive and easy to carry it.Also has a hard drive protection system,a spill-resistant keyboard. But nothing problem and everything work fine.I really like it.

2 Star ReviewGood and bad
Strengths: size/weight, speed, screen resolution, features for the price
Weaknesses: spontaneously freezes, touchy fingerprint reader, speakers
Summary: I bought this computer in November 2006 and have mixed feelings about it. It feels sturdy and I love the compact size. I felt that the features and processor were well-valued. The screen resolution is decent with a high-gloss finish, although this can allow for a distracting glare.

However, the computer spontaneously freezes up every now and then. It will go weeks without doing it, then it will happen several times a day for a few days. There is no blue screen of death and you cannot soft reboot it; the only way is to hard reboot using the power button. The fingerprint reader is a nice concept when it works but if your skin is too dry (in the winter) or if the laptop is running on battery power, the reader is too sensitive to motion artifact and essentially useless. (You can always bypass the sensor manually with a password.) Finally, the speakers are poor, delivering tinny sound with no bass and unable to project much volume.

In summary, if I had to do it over again, I would regret not having such a small compact computer but still would probably have chosen a different laptop to avoid the headaches listed above.

1 Star Reviewnot what is seems
Strengths: strong build, good battery, nice keyboard
Weaknesses: glare off screen is horrible, slow for what's in it, it freezes, the fingerprint reader takes about 4 or 5 swipes before it recognizes you, gets extremely hot, loads of junk software
Summary: After much research I decided on this notebook. Unfortunately, it is nothing but problems and a major disappointment. It froze on the first day, returned it for another one, and the second one froze within the first week. The screen has so much glare, its like a mirror. It gets VERY HOT even if you optimize the cooling. I DO like the look and the build of the machine, but that's not what is really important in the end, what matters is if it will work and be reliable, and this notebook didn't. I will be returning it for something else.

1 Star ReviewChoose another laptop to avoid eye problem
Strengths: no strengh
Weaknesses: The "mirror" screen, the battery life and you can't read when there is back light due to the glare
Summary: So don't buy this, instead buy a thinkpad, that computer does not have mirror screen.

I regret that I have not chosen an Acer or dell. I think that you need to accept the weakness of a laptop. Any way good laptop will become bad.
