 Cannon C60GTX Gas Cooker Strengths: Good looks. You can sit a teapot on the side of the pan supports. Hob offers controlable cooking.
Weaknesses: The top oven and grill did not work on ours from new. Engineer had to fit a washer from his bag of many bits so that the top oven/grill knob could make proper contact. Poor quality control.
Summary: Nice looking cooker. But what a turn off when the top oven and grill would not ignite. Why should an engineer have to bend the thermocouple mount to reach the flame, also why should a brand new cooker need a metal washer fitted on to the spindle of the top oven/grill knob. Service call took days, and the grill still does not work. Having to wait 9 days for next visit, unless they can fit me in sometime before that. Time slots 08.00-13.00 or 12.00-17.00. People have to go to work. Instruction book mentions grill pan handle, not supplied with this cooker seemingly. Quick to sell an extended warranty, which I feel sure I will need. My old Belling served me well.
