Strengths: Great Deal - Nice Value Deck with AM/FM, CD,MP3 & WMA. Solid feel & construction. Nice to have volume knob instead of buttons.
Weaknesses: In city driving, radio stations OK, reception could be better. Volume range 1-40, default at 18, at lower range not much volume unless you add amp.
Summary: This is a good buy -- $139 at Crutchfield. I compared the Panasonic to others brands (Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.), and this is the best value MP3/WMA unit on the market. In my opinion, the Alpine sounded better but cost about $100 more. I installed the Panasonic into my 2002 Pathfinder with new Infinity speakers (replacing the factory Bose system), sounds 100% better than the Bose. This is a basic unit with detachable face and most of the normal features. So far no problems. I would buy again.
