Strengths: Inexpensive, very effective.
Weaknesses: Requires that you own/buy a Waterpik, meaning that you need access to electricity as well, and that makes noise as well. So if you want to use it late at night, you run the risk of waking others.
Summary: I've been a neti pot user for several years. I'd talked to a friend who was very impressed with the Waterpik nasal irrigation system and thought I'd give it a try, based on how much benefit I had gotten from the simple neti pot solution, and how thrilled he was with his Waterpik system. I highly recommend this product, but will keep my neti pot simply because of how low tech it is. Not much can go wrong with a neti pot, other than breaking it. If I ever do break it, I will buy a stainless steel version. But will probably be using the Waterpik system.
