Fujifilm Waterproof Case for Fuji FinePix A400 and A500 Digital Cameras

Good idea but need to work at greater depth.

Strengths: Small, doen't take up a lot of space. Well made, has solid feel. Images look good when it is used.

Weaknesses: Only good to 10 foot depth. Lots of steps to get good seal.

Summary: The case is well made and the window doesn't effect the images at all so good photos are possible using this. It does protect the camera from water, mud, and dust but a lot of steps are required to ensure a good seal each time the case is opened (and this is quite often since the A400 and A500 are battery hogs). This can be pain when using the case in a boat. Also since many people who snorkel will dive below 10 ft, the case should be made to allow use to 30 ft. All in all a useful item, but could be great with some improvements.

Great accessory

Strengths: fit perfectly

Summary: It works well, and fit perfectly. This underwater housing is ideal for the pool, beach, boating, fishing, or other outdoor activities with no concerns about keeping it dry. great little accessory!

Waaterproof Case for Fuji FinePix A400 and A500

Strengths: prefect fit for the Fuji camera, very well made, looks great, works all the functions, and best of all GREAT PRICE.

Weaknesses: Not rated to deap waters like driving, it is only meant for light duty.

Summary: The fit function and features, as well as quality of the product, makes it a GREAT BUY, for some who is not looking to use it for driving, but just for swimming.

Waterproof Case for Fuji A400 Camera

Summary: This is a great case for doing some underwater photography or to take the camera to the beach without worrying about damaging it. it fits the camera like a glove and looks nice. easy to put on and take off. great fun for the kids.

Fujifilm A-Series Underwater Housing for A400/A500 Fujifilm Digital Cameras

Strengths: Fits Camera well. All camera functions work well while in case. Easy to see viewer.

Weaknesses: Many steps required to ensure watertightness. Shutter button hard to depress when wearing gloves.

Summary: We purchased not just for snorkeling (and shallow diving) but also for any hostile environment including snow, dust, moisture. It works well and images seem as good as without case. One problem we noticed is that the shutter button is hard to depress fully when wearing gloves. Also it requires many checks and rechecks to ensure it is watertight. While it could be improved, it functions well and we would recommend.
