Strengths: Absolutely stunning picture straight out of the box. Beautifully designed...solid Sony XBR quality. No "screen door" effect. Weaknesses: Sony has "almost" eliminated all motion blur common in LCDs with their new LSI LCD panel driver. Summary: I have seen no better picture than from this direct-view LCD. It is breathtaking (even when turned off!). Of course, it's expensive, and the built-in ATSC tuner is redundant for most users. The manual specifically says that the LCD is not intended for computer use. DVDs are amazing, and the Wide Zoom mode handles 4:3 content very well. High-definition is brilliant. Weaknesses: price, but well worth it. Strengths: They set up and would not leave until all was perfect, and they took all of the packing material. Weaknesses: $6,000 is very expensive for a 32" LCD. Summary: Surpasses ALL display technologies in EVERY way possible. Yes, it has better black levels than a CRT, and better color depth and resolution. EASE TO USE AND TO LEARN.
