Strengths: The main reason I bought it because of its weight, verrryyyy light, very portable and it's SONY. The screen is amazing. Battery lasts long. Keyboard & built-in camera are great.
Weaknesses: None so far. I love it. Have to create recovery discs (10 cds), you will need them later in case of any problems
Summary: I had wireless network @ home & had a problem connecting the internet at first, but later I found out because of the firewall, not the laptop. Recommend to create the recovery discs as soon as you bought the laptop.

Strengths: Small and ligth with onboard optical drive. Great screen, good keyboard feel.
Weaknesses: None so far, onboard camera is unnecesary for me.
Summary: So far this computer has served its purpose. I will be travelling for 6 months and it will be easy to carry this laptop, it comes very laoded for an ultraportable. Any computer purchase is going to meet personal needs, but if you are looking for an ultraportable with an included cd-r or dvd-r drive, this is a great choice.

Strengths: Size. Weight. SCREEN IS THE BEST.
Weaknesses: Only 2 USB ports. No DVI. Battery life is not very long. Had problems with networking.
Summary: The only significant problem I've had was in networking my laptop to my office. I spent hours with Sony, Linksys, and Microsoft to fix the problem. None of them fixed it. Just when I was about to heartbreakingly return my laptop, I tried one more time, and amazingly the laptop connected!!! Have not had any networking issues for the past few days now. I don't know what the problem was. Other than that, this machine is awesome. There are cheaper, more powerful ones, but none as nice looking and as portable. It's got the best mix of power, aesthetics, portability, and price. Way to go, Sony!!
