Strengths: One phone line for 4 phones and good clarity
Weaknesses: No light for the numbers
Summary: We have purchased many Panasonic cordless phones in the past. We really like the Panasonic brand. Models before included a blinking light if you got a call while you were out. This one does not have that. Also, when you are reviewing your missed calls, you cannot see the name and number at the same time. You may see Out of Area and you have to wait to see what the number was. Also, if it is dark and you need to make a call, you can't see the numbers to dial. On the answering machine, you cannot just leave a message for someone if you are getting ready to leave the house like a memo. On older Panasonic answering machines, you were able to do that. Those are really the only complaints we have on the phone which aren't really any big deal. It has great sound, you can have phones anywhere there is an AC plug, it has many customized settings on each phone, etc. We would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a good phone with multiple handsets.

Panasonic 5.8 GHz phone System
Strengths: lightweight, easy to program, lots of features
Weaknesses: The signal is weak in one of our rooms. The system works well in 3 of the rooms, but there is static on 4th room. We located the base in the middle of the house.
Summary: I was disappointed that all of the phones did not work well in our home. Our home is 4200 sq ft and I would think that a 5.8GHz phone system would work well.

Strengths: Small base unit with three extra phones without having a phone jack. Being able to program one phone with numbers and transfer to the other three is great.
Weaknesses: Keypad does not light up.
Summary: We had not had a portable phone since the old AT&T unit that we have had for years. This Panasonic unit is small and lets us add additional phones to other rooms that do not have a phone jack and each unit is small enough to put in your pocket when you go outside. The sound quality is very good. We are enjoying this new addition to our home very much and find it quite convenient and are well pleased with all of the features.

Strengths: multiple phones for digital phone usage
Weaknesses: keypad doesn't light up.
Summary: We are happy with the overall quality of our phones. Being able to program a phonelist into 1 phone and then transfer it to all of the other phones is nice too. I just wish that the keypads had a backlight as it is impossible to dial a number when it's dark.

Dissapointed, but Keeping It...
Strengths: 4 Handsets with speakerphone and a base with answering machine!
Weaknesses: Sound quality and sound volume.
Summary: I think we're getting acustomed to it after a month but the sound quality and volume are markedly poorer than our previous unit. We had crystal clear sound with volume that could easily be heard. Now we've got a humming background noise during our calls and our messages, and depending upon what's going on in the room we sometimes can't get the volume of the call loud enough to be heard.
During setup I had one phone that didn't automatically register itself with the base and the instructions in the box did not explain the correct approach to correcting this. Luckily, the on-line information for this model did have good instructions for registering phones and I got the problem resolved.
I like everything about this unit except the sound quality. It's not so bad that it's not usable, it just takes some getting acustomed to. Now that we've been using it for a month I think we're getting adjusted and it doesn't seem so bad.
It's almost impossible to test these things out before purchasing them so you have to take your chances that things will meet your expectations once they're in your environment.

Strengths: Clear Sound, good charge time
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This is an excellent phone set. I am amazed at the quality difference from my last set. It is easy to use and has excellent features. I did not need to read the user manual to get it set up and working. The sound quality is excellent from any location in my house or yard. I would recommend to anyone looking for a phone. The 4 headseats is also a nice feature so we are never looking for the phone when it rings.

Strengths: Small size, clear voice, nice design.
Weaknesses: N/A
Summary: I had panasonic before. They do very good job on the phone system. This one is small, look nice and no noise. The ring is very loud. I suggest for big house, otherwise you should turn off on the handset(s).

Strengths: This phone is loaded with features. So far the clarity has been outstanding and the range has been fine. I am very pleased with this phone bundle.
Weaknesses: Only weakness might be the keypad is not backlit, but it has not been a problem.
Summary: The convenience of this Panasonic cordless phone with four handsets is wonderful. By only needing one base connected to a phone outlet, I am able to connect three other phones to any electrical outlet such as upstairs in the bonus room of my new house, in a bathroom, or by my TV seat in the great room. One of the best things about this phone is the quality of the sound, unlike many cordless phones. No buzzing, no loss of signal, or any other distortion. Very good quality.

Strengths: Great value, flexible customizing options
Weaknesses: None yet
Summary: I was glad to find a great quality phone system with multiple handsets. No need to go out and purchase additional handsets at outrageous prices like other makes/systems. Good size - not too big or too small. Terrific clarity and range, way better than our old Uniden 900mhz. Highly recommend this system for its performance and multiple options for personalizing each handset.

Strengths: 4 cordless phones in one
Weaknesses: keypad doesn't light up
Summary: 2007-01-25 14:50:33 Panasonic is a great brand to buy. It has many great features such as being able to transfer the phone book from one phone to another. The only bad thing about this cordless is that the keypad doesn't light up.

Strengths: Trusted brand: had Panasonic before,Excellent reception & range, able to place the handsets where you need them without a phone jack, nice sized phone, many features-still learning them.
Weaknesses: Wall mount, rubber numbered buttons
Summary: I'm just a little skeptical about the wall mount. Unlike our last phone which was hooked onto the base so there was less chance it would fall if someone brushed past it This one just lays in its base unit, which in our case is wallmounted by a frequently used door. Time will tell. The buttons are also rubber like our last one and the phone that was used the most a couple of the buttons didn't work right making it difficult but not impossible to call certain numbers. We did get about 6 yrs. on it before this started. We liked our last Panasonic which had 3 phones, we went with 4 this time and kept the old phones hooked up so now we do have phones in every room.

Strengths: 4 phones and clear signal
Weaknesses: The dialing keys are not lit
Summary: Panasonic makes the best phones I've used. This seems like another good one. I'm upgrading from a 2.4 3 phones to this 5.8 4 phones. This phone has a lot more options, multiple ring tones, flashing lights with no ringing, and info you can download from the internet right to the phone.

Strengths: Four phones with just one base
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: I picked up this set of phones on clearance because Panasonic is bringing in new DECT 6.0 standard phones and the older 5.8Ghz models have been discontinued. Having said that, I have two other Panasonic 5.8 Ghz phones and they all work very well. This set is no different, but adds the convenience of having 4 phones with only one base.

Strengths: Very good phone. clear voice, longer range
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I got what I needed in this phone. 4 charging stations and only one phone line connection. It has a good range to cover so I take it out with me when I go for walk outside the house and if someone calls me I can reply to phone call. Small, compact size. Phone list can be saved in this. We don't need to actually go to answering machine to play messages. We can listen to voicemail via any of the handsets. I liked it so much so planning to buy one more set for my dad's home. I am very happy with this phone. It has multiple ring tones, flashing lights no ring We can download from internet to this phone but for that we have to pay

Strengths: Excellent range around the house
Battery life
Intercom mode
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: Bought this setup for the in-laws whose 900 MHz cordless setup was ready for an upgrade and who had previously tried a cheap DECT 6.0 phone. The 5.8 GHz frequency became ideal as they are planning to take the plunge into a wifi network. Speakerphone mode and intercom mode are nice benefits, but the best part about the phone is that it simply works well.
