Looks professional. Weaknesses: No pockets for extra batteries or cards. Loose belt clip. Summary: Great looking blue & black colored case with "Panasonic" emblazoned on it, and a silver "Lumix" badge. Made of a robust, semi-hard material, it should handle everyday punishment. The TZ1 fits snugly inside the case, however there are no pockets for a spare battery or memory card. The belt clip is one of those aluminum folding clips, normally used for keys & other small items. It attaches loosely to your belt, and since you can't tighten it, the case flops around at your waist. I would have preferred the type of belt clips used on cell phone cases. There are zippers on either side of the case which allow the open end of the case to expand, but why you would need to do this is beyond me. You could pick up a generic case for a few dollars, but the TZ1 is an unusual shape and you'll be hard pressed to find one that fits so perfectly and looks smart. 100% of People (7/7) found this review helpful. Strengths: sturdy, attractive, perfect fit for TZ1 camera Weaknesses: no straps, no pockets, useless side zippers Summary: The case itself is well made and will undoubtedly protect your camera from minor accidents. The camera fits in quite snugly and there is no room for even an extra SD card. In my opinion, the case would have benefitted from a small pocket to carry a spare SD card, as well as an optional strap so you could wear it around your neck. It does come with a small, mountaineer type clip on the back that you could easily clip on a belt loop. I still can't figure out a use for the side zippers. They expand the case ever so slightly, but the sides are not completely enclosed with the zippers open, so if you tried to store an extra SD card in there with the zippers open, it would fit, but I'm also afraid it would fall out the side. Summary: The Panasonic Lumix case is a professional looking enclosure for my Lumix DMC TZ1 Camera but at $16.95 it is fairly expensive when compared to generic cases commonly sold for this purpose. It also seems quite bulky to carry around and lacks a good belt clip. It does have a type of clip that is tradiitonally used to carry keys which can be attached to one's belt. There is a zipper on either side of the case which enables one to expand the case slightly from the top, but I'm not sure for what. In summary I could recommend this case to anyone who is comfortable spending $16.95 for an item that is a littole more attractive than a generic case and which is hard enough to protect the camera if it falls.
