Strengths: Inexpensive, durable, accurate, flexible
Weaknesses: Lens can collect junk
Summary: I have used this camara for close to three years. It was my intro to more advanced digital photography. Owned a DC25 before that. Super bright flash has to be filtered w/ my finger in closeups or lots of white/light colored objects. I have had nothing go wrong w/ this camara and that seems to be the exception to most people w/ digital camaras. I have taken over 3000 trouble free pictures with it.

The picture quality is great up to about 5" by 7" size on the best setting. With my 64MB compact flash card could hold ~78 pictures plus 2 in the internal memory.

Only issue was a speck of dust or something on the lens that showed up as a pixel sixed spot on certain pictures that were black/dark in that area. Local shops could not fix easily and Kodak wanted more than the camara was worth to attempt a fix so I held off. It wasn't on most pictures and could be taken away easy w/ graphics program.

So overall I was very pleased. Just got another Kodak (dx6340) because of pleasure w/ their products.

Strengths: nice easy macro with threaded lense adaptor to add x7 and x10 close up lense. uses inexpensive compact flash.
Weaknesses: poor construction
Summary: I used the DC120 for 9 months technical shooting in a studio. I used it with care because I don't have money to throw around. Though the camera is still within the technical requirements of the work - I have to buy another camera because the tripod mounts directly into the plastic body of the camera and the threads are open to the inside of the camera. So after several uses the plastic becomes worn and fragments collect inside the camera - RIGHT ON THE INSIDE OF THE LENSE - so now I have a blob on the center of my images - dark on light images and light on dark images. The A/C power adapter's connector is also loose and sometimes won't make a connection till jiggled for 5 minutes - The camera's been used alot - but very carefully and I think these are fatal flaws.
