Strengths: cd/mp3cd, cassette and tuner; front audio jack; satellite/hdradio compatible w/addon unit
Weaknesses: not bluetooth compatible; weak remote control
Summary: I bought this unit because I like to be able to play cassettes as well as cds and the system that came with the car only played cds (and could not read mp3 files). A changer can be added, but my mp3 cds and player make that unnecessary.
When I bought the stereo, I did not understand or have a need for bluetooth and have since found out that the manufacturer does NOT have an adapter that is compatible with it.
An HD Radio adapter is available from the manufacturer, but I'm not in the car enough to make use of one; and I refuse to pay for satellite radio, but the adapter is available for someone who wants it.
Programming is pretty easy when following the directions in the manual. The remote control is only effective when pointed directly at and within a few feet of the radio, but that is noted in the instructions.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the stereo and would consider buying the same brand products in the future.
As it met my expectations for the time when I bought it, I'm giving it 5 stars. However, I'd only recommend it for someone who is SURE that they won't need Bluetooth in the future.
