Strengths: Sleek, portable, good antenna reception, accurate directions (CT,NY), nice screen, auto adjustment for intensity, day/night sky display, suction cup mount, dedicated POI, Gas button, xtra SD card slot
Weaknesses: Functional - Text to speech (does not say street names)
Aesthetic - Only available in black
Summary: Overall, Highly recommended. Needs charging out of the box to startup. (not a big deal) Took a few mins to acquire GPS triangulation inside the house. (Good antenna) Showed my house off by a few hundred feet further up on the street, which is probably not the unit's fault, since Google Map, Yahoo Map, and Mapquest show the same difference. Unit completely charged under an hour, and worked for more than 4 hrs in the car. Test drive of 60 miles from CT to NY, as per GPS calculated route in the afternoon(Good instructions) Test drive of 60 miles from NY to CT, purposely taking another route, the units Back-On-Track feature worked perfectly. was fun too.. since it was night time. The suction mount allows to place the unit under the rear view mirror, and can be transferred to another car. The headphone outlet can be connected to a cassette adapter to connect to the car stereo system to increase the unit's volume many folds.. good for those travelling with younger kids. WishList - love to see this unit in more colors, instead of just black, and also a metallic body (silver, etc) Salesmanship - My next door neighbor loved it so much, he asked me to order one for him too.... will Navman give me a commission on the sale ?? :)
