So far, so good. The resolution is pretty good; however, the software that comes with it is not Mac-compatible, so if you're buying this monitor for any of the extra features (like the MagicTune technology), and you are a Mac owner, you better come up with another reason. For me, the monitor's extra slim bezel and competitive price tag were two really great reasons. This is a great basic monitor to meet your needs, and all of the reviews I have heard about these have been favorable - so I would recommend this if you want a simple monitor of if you're twinning two monitors together (which I might do using another one of these). 100% of People (3/3) found this review helpful. View angle is standard (160 degrees for both vertical and horizontal) should be adequate enough. Dual input connectors enable users to connect to either an analog or a digital output from PC’s video card. 3 years warranty is the best for me and I believe this is one of the main features when I select Samsung’s monitor. It looks like this monitor is for both PC and playing DVD movies. However the response time 8 mS is not adequate for playing some of the games or DVD movies. 4 mS would ideal for the applications. Summary: I bought this from local store for a great price after rebates. I was looking for a Samsung for a long time for affordable price. I installed it immediately and watched movies on it. Movies looked great on this monitor. It is really bright and crystal clear colors. Supported resolution is also great. I also felt that black color seems to have green tint. Weaknesses: the power inverter buzzes loudly at brightness levels below a setting of 83. above that level it is totally silent (but bright for your bedroom) Only 60hz refresh at 1400x1050 Summary: I was looking at the 940BW with 1440x900 resolution and decided that the 203B at 1400x1050 was a better compromise for my purposes. It is every bit as usefull as the 940 but has the advantage of slightly more vertical space for those extra big spread sheets. The 60Hz refresh rate limitation might be due to my graphics adapter- or maybe not. At certain brightness levels there is a shimmering effect with certain grey scale images (brighter levels eliminate the shimmering)- it seems like it's due to the 60Hz refresh. Its great for anyone that doesn't want to squint to read. On the other hand, a high resolution would provide more real-estate for those doing graphics or multitasking.
