Weaknesses: Tech support, replacement and refund. You get none of each. They won't answer email. When you finally call them and send the card in it returned with same defect. They refuse to replace software.
Summary: If you have a score to settle with someone, tell them to use Hauppauge for their Home entertainment center video components. They'll be stuck bwith absolute junk they can neither tweak with hardware or software adjustments, nor will Hauppauge honor any refund pledges. Friend has one already, scratch his installation CD, and s/he'll never be able to reinstall it. Iwas told buy another card, copy the CD,and take it along with the card to a recoverson.
