Sharp has a good reputation. This TV looks modern and sleak. The DVD feature is excellent and eliminates a separate DVD unit and extra wiring. Weaknesses: DVD player is not playing PAL DVDs. No computer input. Summary: Got this set for my daughter's room. The TV works well, but it took a while to adjust the picture. After that I have no complains about it. DVD player is limited to NTSC only. I tried to play a home made movie from Europe - it didn't take it, however my old DVD player had no problem with it.
