Strengths: Nice for 2 speaker "surround" sound setup.
USB connection for desktop control of bass, treble, surround mode and more...
Different surround "modes", customizable for different games.
Weaknesses: May not be the best choice for 4 speaker setup.
While they have a powerful sound, it's not earshattering...
Summary: I've purchased 3 of these systems and all have treated me decently. Volume control, as well as bass, treble, and surround level are controled either by a knob and a couple of buttons on the sattelite speakers, or via the softwareas long as you hook up the USB connection. The sattelite speakers have 2 speakers in each and one fires forward while the other fires about 45 degrees either to the left or right. This angle is not adjustable. The theory is that the angled ones will have a delay and therefore create a surround effect. While this is somewhat true, better effects are recieved from a true 4 speaker system. I have 2 of these systems setup on one computer, both working in their 2 speaker mode with one setup as front speakers and one setup as rear speakers. They work great together for quad sound this way, however I don't recommend doing this, as it would be much cheaper to get a good 4 speaker setup. Overal, a good choice for 2 speaker setups, or a good start for an eventual 4 speaker setup.
