    Product Experience:
    1 Week
Strengths: Long battery life, light weight, FAST and responsive. Handwriting recognization is excellent, build is excellent
Weaknesses: no cover for docking bus
Summary: After considering the competition, I decided to purchase the HP TC4400 over the Toshiba and Fujitsu. It's light weight and unbelievable speed led me to the decision. I've now had it for a week and could not be happier.

This machine is FAST and the build is strong and totally business. It isn't for gaming, but for a tablet PC in an every day business use setting it can't be beat. The lack of an internal optical drive is, for me, a benefit as in today's world, using a usb drive is really better than having to bring a CD along.

You won't be dissapointed in this Tablet.

1 Star ReviewUnusable
Strengths: None
Weaknesses: "Next Day" on site service
Summary: We got this laptop for our company. After about 3 months it suddenly died, doesn't even light up. We tested with another power supply, still nothing. We had paid for next day on site service but its been close to a month. They basically say "the part will be here in five days" and then in 6 days I call back and they say "six more days". We have to wait 30 days for the laptop warranty to kick in and they will send a replacement laptop. In the meantime I have a sales person who can't do her job on an old laptop because it keeps freezing up. We've ordered a Dell (they always show up the next day from our experience) but it won't be here until next week.

So my experience with HP is basically negative. I don't care about the cost of the laptop, I just need to know if it is broken, I am going to minimize the downtime for an employee. If that is your requirement, then don't depend on HP.
