 I bought this 26" LCD TV since it had a video opti ... Strengths: NTSC, PAL compatible. Good sound. Low price.
Weaknesses: Poor image quality. BENQ customer support.
Summary: I bought this 26" LCD TV since it had a video option for NTSC and PAL and it had a low price tag of $869 (from NewEgg.com).
From day one the image quality was very poor. I tried the regular tuner, DVD and my computer all had the same poor image result. My ten-year-old TV had a better image then this one. I must say that the sound quality was excellent.
I called NewEgg.com first then BENQ customer service explainning the problem. They asked me to send the TV to them for inspection under warranty. After sending the TV in I have tried to concted them for days without any reply. A week later I got a voice mail saying that the TV was inspected and there was nothing wrong with it.
It took me days to get a response back from them and when I finaly talked with the supervisor the TV was already on the way back to me.
I wanted to return it to NewEgg.com but their return policy prevent me form doing so.
