 Wind Chaser 12000 BTU Strengths: In looks nice
Weaknesses: It does not cool or dehumidfy efficiently.
Summary: Our Wind Chaser PACR12 was purchased to cool a storage area at work. The unit was left on for a few days but it was found not to be reducing room temperature as expected. We then reduced the area to be cooled to 12' x 12' but still found the Wind Chaser PACR12, ineffective. The problem is probably caused by the fact that the Wind Chaser PACR12 vents hot air through a large tube to the outside world and that this air must be replaced. The replacement air is drawn into the room though gaps in its construction and, as this air is hot, it raises the room temperature. In short, I cannot recommend this unit.
