Excellent sound quality. Weaknesses: Eject function is part of the slide down cd cover. Would like to see a seperate button. Summary: This is a very simple to use, basic AM/FM CD player. I just got rid of my old Kenwood and switched to the Sony CDX-R3000 and am blown away by the difference in sound quality. The high power output is plenty to drive all four of my 6x9s and the built in low pass filter does and excellent job only supplying my subs with plenty of low notes. 100% of People (9/9) found this review helpful. Strengths: low profile car stereo, retro look, very good options for people with subs. You can independently control sub volume and equalizer settings. Weaknesses: none? plasticy at parts you can't be too heavy handed with the drop down loader Summary: I have a 2 door hatchback 91 Honda Civic with two high quality mid to high speakers in front and a 12 inch amp powered sub in back. This is a great stereo for this set up due to the ability to low the sub volume and still get to change equalizer settings without having the sub volume skyrocket.
