Strengths: Plays all kinds of DivX I tried.
Weaknesses: Sound quality is not as good as I thought it would be.
Summary: Overall this system is pretty good. I have about 45 different DivX disks and I've tested them all on 3 DivX players I have (LiteOn, Phillips, Trutech). LightOn played about 40 of them, Trutech played 42/43, don't remember about Phillips. Samsung plays them all. I never got a chance to go into details to see what the difference was between those DivXs, probably just a different DivX version, not supported by other players. Maybe a firmware update is required (if available) to have them all played..But, like I said, this Samsung played them all.
One thing you should use extream caution with - don't move the player while it's playing. It seems to be very fragile. I did it once and I heard some scratching noise.
Sound quality is not bad, but not as good as I thought it'd be. I'm not an audiofile and absolutelly love crystal Panasonic HT or EV (Electro Voice) sound. I hoped this one will be very close to that. It's not. It sounds better then my present Sony HT, but as good as I hoped.
As for the price, I got a bargain. I don't think it's worth $300+ shelf tag. $150-200 maybe, but not $300.
