Strengths: easy to wear, lots of add-on's, clear and crsip sound
Weaknesses: ear gets numb after few hours of wearing it
Summary: With this Plantronics bluetooth headset I finally resolve my issue of finding a good bluetooth headset that will be easy to wear, would not fall out of my ear and which battery would last longer than the others I tried. Therefore I am highly recommending this headset for all road warriors out there as well as the ones that just wants to look cool by wearing it :)

Strengths: Small but Great Sound & Voice Quality, Almost unnoticable. Pairs easliy with any cellphone.
Weaknesses: Ear bud in ear might be issue
Summary: Best BlueTooth Headset on the market today. Once you get used to the ear bud in the inner part of your ear, you will never use another headset. Plantronics always makes the best headsets.

1 Star ReviewDoes not live up to the hype
Strengths: Comfortable in ear
Weaknesses: Bad reception, falls continuously out of charger
Summary: I bought this headset through buy.com for a reasonable price. I bought it based on the many positive reviews I had read about the Discovery 640.

Since I wear glasses I did not want a headset that is held in place with a hook over one ear, and this headset seemed a good choice.

I am very unhappy with this unit for two reasons:

1: Since I only use the headset in my car while driving, I also charge it in my car. Well, the headset does not stay put in the charger. Even the slightest vibration caused by even the smallest bump in the road will dislodge the headset from the charger, and it will stop charging. I find this extremely annoying. Pushing the unit hard into the charger does not help. It does not "lock" in place. It is very "mushy". On two occasions already, I ended up with an empty battery, even though I thought it would be fully charged, and I have owned this thing for only one week.

2: The reception between the headset and my phone varies from bad to terrible. Even when I have not even connected to anyone yet, while the phone is still dialing or trying to connect, do I hear loud crackling noises over this headset. And when I talk to people, they often tell me, that they cannot hear me well, and I have to switch off the unit and use the phone instead of the headset, so I can be heard.

I got this thing for safety reasons for use in the car. Since I have to switch back to the phone, this defeats the purpose.

I will go back to using my old cheap wired headset, that came with my phone. Even though I do not like to tangle with the cord, it always sounds clear and crisp, and I never have to charge it!

I will try to send this thing back and get my money back.

1 Star ReviewDisappointing
Strengths: Small, light piece and stylish
Weaknesses: Cannot pair it with my LG the V
Summary: Bottom line, cannot use this device with my phone. I've tried to follow every direction possible, and the devices cannot find each other.

On the upside, the phone is extremely stylish and lightweight. It fits well in the ear.

2 Star ReviewPlanttonicsDiscovery 645
Strengths: small and light. easy to charge.
Weaknesses: Static Lose of signal
Summary: It's clear only when in direct line with the Bluetooth device. Turn your head a different direction and loose the signal. I don’t recommend to buy again to anyone.

2 Star Reviewsmall, but not good enough.
Strengths: small, charging system works well.
Weaknesses: Low power.
Summary: VERY limited power. Can't get more than 15 feet away from my phone. Should be 30 meters. Can't talk with my phone in my pocket - too much static from limited power.

3 Star ReviewPretty good for the three days it worked.
Strengths: Compact size. Long battery life with battery tube. Noise cancelation works.
Weaknesses: Product broke within 3 or 4 days of use. Sound got "crackly" and then it quit working altogether. Also, the headset wouldn't lock into the charger tube so kept falling out. It's small size made it dif
Summary: I shouldn't have chosen the cheapest price--in spite of high ratings on the website. Malcolm Wireless was slow to respond. Weeks later, I still haven't gotten the replacement device.I've had much better service--much, much better service from NewEgg.com

2 Star ReviewDon't believe the high rating
Strengths: small, somewhat easy to wear, comfortable, and looks good.
Weaknesses: very weak battery, complainces of not able to hear me, dsp is not as great as they say.
Summary: Talk time is less then 3 hrs, so if you are away from an AC for more then half your day, you maybe without bluetooth until you get home. The traveling charging device is OK, but you need to change batteries every couple of charges. The battery from the unit is not great since it takes forever to charge again.

I'm selling mine, anyone interested?

3 Star Review645 DSP bluetooth headset
Strengths: Good sound quality on my end. Comfortable and small.
Weaknesses: People I'm speaking to say I sound like I'm in a tunnel. Sometimes it has problems communicating with my phone.
Summary: I can hear callers perfectly. Easy to use volume control. Fits well.

People I am speaking with have trouble hearing me or pick up on all my background noise over my voice.

Strengths: extremely light, a little convenient holster, 3 different earpieces for most ears. This is also a very feature rich headset!!
Weaknesses: Falls out of the ear sometimes if you dont use the over the ear addition, the dsp doesnt seem to work, retail price is a joke.
Summary: When I first received this headset, it looked really nice and had a lot of things going for it. It comes with a lot of attachments, but I wont describe whats in the box and all the other info you probably already know. If you are driving a car and using this, or using it on a bed, or sitting, this is a really good headset. However, if you drive a convertible or you walk outside in a windy area and talk, buy the logitech headset with windstop, that is my old headset and it was pretty good.

Anyway, this headset has other downfalls. You can notice with this and the 640 that it easily gets static when its not in a direct line with the phone. It can sometimes fall off if not properly secured, but you dont need the other attachment for driving and sitting at a desk. It can go through walls a little bit, it just has trouble going through the body?!

The good side is that it is so lightweight, that the for the 3 hours of talk time you get with this, you wont even feel it. It is extremely lightweight, and it looks cool too. Also, it looks completely different from all other headsets. Best of all, it has so many features that I STILL dont know how to use them all. It can vibrate in its case, it flashes a certain amount of times to tell you how much battery is left, it can do voice dialing, and last number redial, and pleanty more.

1 Star ReviewExtremely Disappointing Headset
Strengths: small, stylish, easy to hear the other person, pairs well with Treo 700p
Weaknesses: other party can't hear you
Summary: Product worked well in perfectly quiet rooms, but as soon as I into environments with other people present, the person with whom I was talking could hear background voices and noises better than they could hear me! And walking outside in windy San Francisco, nobody could hear anything at all. Thankfully the vendor (Malcom Wireless) had a good return policy, so I returned it and purchased a Plantronics 510, which works very very well.
