3 Star ReviewSony VAIO VGN-AR190G Notebook
Strengths: 1) Blue Ray Disc player 2) High resolution Screen 3) Huge Hard Disk Drive (200 GB) 4) Built in web camera 5) Great replacement for desktop 6) Attractive looking
Weaknesses: 1) Huge Price 2) Incompatible with Samsung DLP HDTV (Not works with HDMI Cable) 3) Poor customer service
Summary: This is a great laptop with all the great features, But I had lot of trouble in connecting with my Samsung DLP TV, Samsung manual says that the TV will not work when connected PC with HDMI, but the computer will transfer video signal only in HDMI not with regular VGA 15 pin connector.

Other than that it is a great laptop.

Strengths: This computer is very user friendly and has all the features you could want in a laptop as well as a desktop. I love the media center feature however I have had some difficulty in configuring the TV.
Weaknesses: The only weakness is the position of the mouse to click buttons. They are located on the platform edge which is somewhat new and often times you will click the right button instead of the left button.
Summary: 2007-03-05 21:11:51 Overall, I was pleased with this purchase. The blue-ray is nice to have howver on a small screen, compared to a Tv the advantages of blue-ray does not stand out. The picture quality nonetheless is almost flawless. You will not go back to regular DVD watching, believe me. The current prices are in line with what to expect as you will pay the same or more for a comparable HD DVD player/laptop so go with the Blue-ray if you have an option.
