Strengths: Socket AM2, PCIe x16, on board vid/GB Lan/7.1 sound/SATAII/1394
Weaknesses: 2 PCI, 4gb max
Summary: This board has everything you need in one little small package. I would have preferred standard ATX with more PCI slots over a microATX. I haven't seen an AM2 board with all these features for less than ~150. My case gets a little warm and the on board vid can get hot but i upgraded to a PCIe card so thats no longer an issue. I recommend getting an aftermarket card but this on board will work fine for internet, movies, word processing etc

Strengths: Feature rich at excellent price
Weaknesses: Errors installing XP Home w/ USB Mouse support enabled in BIOS.
Summary: I have always been happy with Gigabyte boards. This one was no different.

Purchased to (finally) upgrade kids' PC. Once I got past the USB mouse issue, setup was a snap. Position of ATX connection could be issue on mini-tower/short-depth cases since it could block 5.25" drive bays, but fit well in mid-tower case.

Strengths: This is a solid MB, great features for the price. I have two of these and I had no problems getting up and running with XP. The on-board video is surprising good, it drives my 22" WS at 1680x1050.
Weaknesses: There are only two PCI slots, but this won't be a limitation for most users with all the on-board features.
Summary: I had some frustration getting a WD SE16 320GB SATA drive to work. Once I figured out I needed to disable command queuing in the Nvidia SATA driver everything works fine. I submitted several support questions through Gigabyte's website. They were very responsive and I usually had a reply within 24 hours.
