Summary: there is no question that any of these products would provide great protection for my active daughter who just started to cruise along our coffee table at six and half month old.
i prefer this product to others because it comes with four corners (while others sell them separately) and the main piece is one long form so you can cut it to your desired length (others often comes in 4 short pieces). our coffee table is 5.5 ft. long, but i didn't have to use two or more pieces for coverage which makes the overall appearence more seamless.
my only disappointment is that there is no dark color available for dark furniture (which i'm not sure if anybody makes at all.)
i'll buy another one of this for a fire place.
